My issue with SRI is that people seem to think that investing in a company&#039;s stock is doing them a favor.

Assuming that the investment was made in the secondary market (as opposed to buying directly from the company at an IPO), the stock was bought from a 3rd party.

The company itself isn&#039;t involved in the transaction at all.</description>
