		<description>I don&#039;t invest in mutual funds (unless you count index funds). But if I were to invest in a mutual fund (I think it can make sense in some circumstances), I would be looking for one run by a fund manager with a demonstrated record of exercising independent judgment. Many funds just follow the indexes. If your fund is following the indexes, you are paying extra fees for nothing.
