@QueenTess
For the kindle, just use the amazon supplied pdf converter application, and amazon will convert and send it to your kindle device for free.

You will have to initiate this process from your amazon online kindle account. Hope that helps.
@Mike
Awesome. what did we do to deserve such a nice treat from you :)

Hi QueenTess.

Hmm...hadn't thought about that yet. Kindle format seems unlikely unless I get a lot of other people asking about it. (At the moment, I don't know how to do it.)

Are any formats readable on Kindle except for the explicit Kindle file type? If there's something that's readable on Kindle that would also serve as something I could offer investors outside the U.S., that could be a possibility.

Any chance this will be available in Kindle (or other e-book) format after it's officially released?

Niklas, thanks for buying my prior book! I hope you enjoy them both. :)

(I'm afraid to ask how much it cost for shipping to the UK...)

Dear Mike,
Thanks very much for offering the new book! I've already bought Oblivious Investing (it should be arriving in the UK any time now), but I'll be reading Investing Made Simple anyway...

Thanks everybody for the encouraging words and for all the ways you're getting the word out. :)

My Journey: Great question. I had intended to cover that once it actually becomes available for sale, but I might as well go over it here too.

In terms of recommended strategies, the two books are very similar. Hopefully this is no surprise--I'm still a big fan of index funds and buying & holding.

The biggest differences are in terms of the method of covering the material. Obviously, Oblivious Investing's most defining characteristic is that it's in narrative format. This new book isn't.

Also, Investing Made Simple is much more about the "nitty gritty"--how to determine your asset allocation, the differences between types of retirement accounts, etc.

The truth is that, for most people, I probably wouldn't recommend buying both. Rather, I'd buy/read whichever one appeals to you most. If the idea of a narrative sounds good, go with Oblivious Investing; if not, go with Investing Made Simple.

Cheers,
Mike

Mike,

Congrats! I had the honor of reviewing your last book, and just would like to know before I buy the new book what makes it different than the last one? More details, Less details? Different topics?
